Welcome to the ETIM Academy!
I am Jeroen van der Holst, the Community Director of ETIM International. I’d like to start off by expressing a big thank you for your interest in the ETIM standards.
The standardisation of product information management and exchange may seem very straight forward, but in fact is a very fascinating topic.
This online training platform has been created for anyone who is working in a technical industry. Anyone working in management, sales, procurement, IT or engineering at a manufacturer, wholesaler, industry and trade organisation, or software developer: in this academy we will teach you to become an expert in the ETIM standards.
Before we can let you start on your journey, let us first show you what you can expect in this training platform. This Academy platform consists of a number of courses that are expanding over time, while we constantly add more content.
We are an open standard, and so should our training materials be. However, open is not for free and we do need to raise funds to run our operations. That is why we preserved the more advanced lessons for members of the ETIM community.
If you are not a member of our community yet, please consider becoming one by contacting your local ETIM organisation. With your membership and participation you will be supporting our work, and you will get all the benefits of being a member.
We hope you will find our Academy useful and that you will enjoy the training materials.
